Description

This nutritious and delicious smoothie is packed with immune-boosting Vitamin C, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties to help you stay healthy and energized throughout the long and cold winter.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup low-fat, plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 cup milk or milk alternative

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup frozen mango

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1/2 cup carrot, chopped

  • 1-inch knob of ginger, or 1 teaspoon dried

  • Optional: sprinkle of turmeric and a crack of black pepper


Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and without chunks.

  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

  • this recipe makes two servings. If you have leftovers you can freeze in an ice tray for a future smoothie. Just add liquid (milk, water or 100% orange juice) and enjoy!
